Individual Clinical Supervision for LMFT, LPC & Registered Interns

Supervision that goes past the signature.

You bring the case, and we actually sit with it.

The client who isn't opening up, the couple stuck in the same fight, the call you made and aren't sure was the right one. That's what your hour with us is for, every week.

Empower Family Therapy offers individual clinical supervision for Illinois-based Marriage and Family Therapists (ALMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), and for Florida-based Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Clinician Registered Interns. Our Qualified Supervisor (QS) is credentialed in both Illinois and Florida, so no matter where you're licensed, you're getting supervision from a practice built on relational, systemic care.

Illinois LMFT and LPC Supervision

If you're an ALMFT or LPC associate in Illinois working toward full licensure, supervision here follows your caseload, not a set curriculum. Sessions count toward your required supervised hours and happen one-on-one.

Florida LMFT and Mental Health Clinician Supervision

Our Qualified Supervisor (QS) also holds credentialing in Florida, supervising Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Clinician registered interns working toward licensure there. Sessions run virtually, so it doesn't matter where in the state you're based.

We Look at the Whole System, Not Just the Session

Empower Family Therapy is a relational, systemic practice, and that's how we supervise too. We don't just review your intervention. We look at what's happening around your client: their partner, their family, the job that's making everything harder. Our supervisor has walked therapists from their very first internship all the way through full licensure, and knows what that road actually feels like.

What This Builds Toward

Logging hours is just the paperwork side of it. What actually matters is who you become along the way. Therapists who've come through supervision here step into full licensure already comfortable running their own caseload, trusting themselves in the room. When a session goes sideways, they can think clearly instead of scrambling afterward, replaying what they should have done differently. We want you to leave not just licensed, but ready, and we're genuinely glad to be part of getting you there.

Who This Is For

  • Illinois: ALMFT and LPC associates working toward full licensure

  • Florida: Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Clinician registered interns working toward full licensure

  • Either State: Graduate interns completing practicum hours, and independent clinicians who need a QS-credentialed supervisor
