Jillian Watson, MFT Intern, she/her/hers (supervised by Isabel Caisse
If you’re feeling stuck in your relationship, overwhelmed by a difficult transition, or simply trying to make sense of what you’re going through, therapy can offer a place to slow down, feel understood, and see things with a little more clarity.
I’m Jillian Watson, a pre-licensed therapist intern who works with couples, families, and individuals. I especially enjoy working with couples who are navigating infidelity, communication difficulties, or concerns around intimacy. I also work with college-aged young adults and individuals and families facing significant life transitions, including infertility, grief, loss, and difficult past experiences.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
When people first reach out, they may be feeling anxious, ashamed, depressed, or unmotivated. My goal is to create a safe, empathetic space where you can talk openly without feeling judged. I want our work together to give you perspective and clarity while helping you feel genuinely understood.
I believe there is room for both depth and humor in therapy. Even during painful or confusing seasons, I think it can be meaningful to notice what still makes us laugh and to find some light in the absurdities of life.
Therapy Approach
I connect with the person sitting across from me and take time to understand their story and their world. Together, we explore the experiences that have shaped you and make sense of what they mean in your life. This can include looking at grief, loss, difficult past experiences, priorities, and values. My hope is to help you make sense of your own story and feel more able to take charge of the life you want to live.
I offer individual, couples, and family therapy for clients of all ages. I provide in-person therapy in Oak Park, Illinois, as well as virtual therapy throughout Illinois. I am a pre-licensed intern working under the clinical supervision of Isabel Caisse, LMFT.
If you’re wondering whether therapy with me might be a good fit, I’d be glad to talk with you about what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping for.
You may be a good fit for my work if you are:
Are part of a couple experiencing communication or intimacy concerns
Are trying to work through infidelity or its impact on your relationship
Are a college-aged young adult navigating the transition into adulthood
Are experiencing infertility or the emotional challenges surrounding it
Are working through grief, loss, or difficult past experiences
Want a therapist who will listen deeply and help you find perspective and clarity
