How to Not Lose Your Sh*T: A four part men’s resilience & skill-building group (May-June 2024)
This 4-part virtual group will help men who struggle to juggle all the expectations on their plate, and provide them a foundation to better understand how to manage stress.
What is this group?
This group was created by Empower Family Therapy to address the men's mental health issues that we so commonly see. It will include education about the ways men are raised and socialized and how that is contributing to the issues present in their lives today. Participants will also learn about mental and emotional resilience, stress management and the respective tools and skills to begin addressing these issues. This introductory group will help participants begin building the foundation for becoming a better version of themselves by changing the way they respond to difficult situations. It’s time to move from anger and frustration to calm strength.
Who is it for?
This group is for adult, professional men that are struggling to maintain balance across the different dimensions of their lives including work, family, social, and personal life. This group will help men who have difficulty juggling all the expectations on their plate to better understand why it’s all so hard, and how they can find more balance and reconnect these responsibilities with who they are and their goals for the future.
No therapy experience is required to be a great fit for this group. It is introductory, and will be a great starting point for men who have not considered participating in therapy.
